Hello again!

After a long hiatus, we're back.  Things got a little busy there, but with a record-breaking wet winter providing an enforced vacation, there's some time to sit down and work on pressing questions.

What it feels like out there, right now

One of those will definitely be a continuation of the GMO series; the issues haven't changed, and even the arguments are much the same as they were two years ago.  There's still a lot of fear, uncertainty, and doubt to clear up, and I hope to clarify things as thoroughly as I can.  The next segment will be right on the heels of this post, and I hope to keep going for as long as the rain lasts.

As always, if you have a question which you think science might be able to answer, I'll happily take some time to work out the essentials and present them in layman's terms, with my usual attention to references and primary sources.  After all, science shouldn't be exclusively for people with advanced degrees... and it's comfortable in street clothes.
